INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2023-24

The momentous day of oath taking ceremony of HEMA Higher Secondary School took place today on 10th August 2023. The day dawned to bestow responsibilities on the elected young leaders of the school to lead the school from the forefront and take it to the pinnacles with dedication, commitment, confidence and competence. The elected leaders were all enthusiastic donning the cap and fastening their belts to take up the challenges and will discharge their duties with utmost sincerity.
The Investiture ceremony began with the welcoming of the Chief Guest Shri Riyaz Iqbal, DCP Bhopal by the school band followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp seeking blessings of the lord almighty.
The Guest was welcomed by Shri Philip Panicker, President HEMA Education Society, Shri Kishore Pillai, Secretary, Principal Ms. Poonam Sharma, Headmistress Ms. Peyali Sinha and the Governing Committee Members.
The guest was welcomed by the Principal by presenting a sapling as a token of gratitude.
Principal Ms. Poonam Sharma in her welcome speech expressed her thankfulness to Shri Riyaz Iqbal and also asked the students to lead through innovation and become a global citizen.
The oath was administered by the Chief Guest and official badges were pinned. The following students were administered the oath.

The Chief Guest in his address appreciated the programme and also asked the students to participate in extracurricular activities along with studies for their overall development. He also laid emphasis on travelling to get more exposure of the outside world.
A colourful dance was showcased on the song ‘Bandaya re Bandaya’. A trophy was also presented to the ex-band commander and cheques were handed over to the school Head boy and Head girl as a token of motivation and appreciation.
The eventful day came to an end with the proposing of the vote of thanks by the school Head boy and school Head girl followed by a group photograph.
