Knowledge is like a garden ,if it is not cultivated, it cannot be harvested. Knowledge is of no value unless it is put into practice.
Keeping in mind this thought, HEMA HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL organised an Inter house E.V.S and G.K. quiz competition (QUIZOMANIA) for classes III to V on 16th August, 2023.
The participants in each house gave a tough battle to each other in all the five rounds. The rounds were Direct question,Optional round, Rapid fire, Visual and Buzzer
round.
The Quiz was conducted by the students of class VII and VIII under the guidance of EVS teachers.
A lot of excitement, group discussion and enthusiasm was visible during the quiz. All the participants got motivated by their team members and got the knowledge about science, environment, space and sports.
Although all the houses actively participated, VALLATHOL and ASAN house bagged the first and the second position respectively. TAGORE house was at third position and IQBAL house got the consolation prize.
Our Principal Mrs.Poonam Sharma and Secretary Mr. Kishore Pillai announced the results and congratulated all the winners.
