A workshop on Cybersecurity was conducted on 14/03/2024, Thursday by Helpage India to create awareness among the school staff on the increasing rate and danger of cybercrime in the present era.

Resource persons were Mr. Rakesh Dangi and Gourav Kushwaha from Helpage India.

It was an eye opener for each one of us to know about the various types of frauds that can take place due to our ignorance by a single click over the phone.

Mr. Rakesh Dangi explained everyone about how we get carried away by fake and attractive offers through messages, E-mail, gaming apps etc by playing short videos.

We came to know about numerous frauds like OTP fraud, E- mail fraud, toll-free number fraud, Sextorsion etc .

Our resource person also enlightened us on how to deal with these frauds and how to avoid it in near future through TAFCOP portal, Mask Aadhar, avoiding calls and messages from unknown numbers by blocking them immediately.

He instructed us to remain alert and protect as well as not share our personal details with everyone.

Overall it was an excellent and outstanding workshop that inculcated the qualities of alertness and awareness among each one of us.
