November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
A day marking childhood, and to make this event a memorable one ,HEMA Higher Secondary school celebrated children’s day on 13 th November 2021 in the school premises.
The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence. A special programme was organised by the teachers for their students on this occasion.
The programme began with Prayer followed by lighting of lamp and garlanding the potrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by the School cabinet.
The teachers showed their warmth and affection towards the children through a cultural extravaganza.
The celebration culminated with a ramp walk where in all the teachers showed their talent on the ramp. They were dressed up in traditional attire bringing variety.
The children were very excited and felt appreciated and loved.They were overwhelmed with joy to see their teachers on the stage.
