A cultural exchange programme was organised at Hema Higher Secondary School on July 7th 2022, where university students from United States visited school and exchanged ideas, culture and their valuable life experiences. “ Enter with a happy heart May all who enter as a Guest leave as friend “ Programme was commenced with this quote. US delegates were welcomed in a typical Indian style by putting a tilak and akshat on their forehead and were welcomed with flowers. It was a proud moment for school to have cultural exchange programme between two countries. The programme began with lighting of the lamp by distinguished guests, President Mr. Philip Panicker, Secretary Mr. Kishore Pillai, Principal Mrs. Poonam Sharma, Vice Principal Mrs. Pamela Abraham. Hema Higher Secondary School is one of the renowned schools of Bhopal. The school aims to nurture the young hearts academically, physically and spiritually to face the challenges of life as free citizens of the world. Respected guests were welcomed with a rhythmic melodious song. Thereafter interactive session held between two countries where students of Hema School and university students from United States interacted with one other to acknowledge tradition, culture, heritage and art. The programme was further directed towards a devotional dance performance by the school dance group. The performers beautifully expressed the Indian culture. Thereafter as a token of appreciation and gratitude President, Secretary, Principal and Vice Principal presented momento to our distinguished guests. Next in the sequence it was time for our esteemed guests to have a tour of Hema Higher Secondary school campus where Hemaits enthusiastically interacted explaining all the area of the campus.
