"What makes a child gifted and talented may not always be good grades in school, but a different way of looking at the world and learning." 

Education is fundamental for achieving full human potential, developing an equitable and just society, and promoting national development in terms of education system of India.

With this objective the new National Education Policy (NEP) announced by the government which will give new dimension to education of India.

In order to know deep insight of NEP a session was conducted at HEMA Higher Secondary School on Saturday, July 5,2022.  by the teachers who had attended a training session on NEP. 

The session was commenced with a welcome note.

Objective of NEP

Key features of NEP

Case studies 

Curriculum and Pedagogical Reforms

Capacity Building of Teachers

Assessment Reforms

Systemic Reforms

SAFAL and SQAA Assessment along with minimum competency

Foundational literacy and numeracy

Conclusion

Along with all the above-mentioned points pedagogy was deeply discussed. Inter Disciplinary Activity was conducted which focussed on ‘Know M.P’. Joyful Learning, Art Integrated Learning, Experiential Learning was discussed.

Activities were conducted along with questionnaire through Mentimeter. Teachers participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The presentation was a sum-up of all important points of NEP.  

The session was concluded by a recapitulation where the Principal  Ms. Poonam Sharma asked questions and appreciated and motivated the teachers for their efforts.
