Green is the most common colour in the natural world, think of nature and see green in all its glory expressing renewal, life and energy. 

In order to teach our children about the uses of colours in their immediate environment and to help them to develop an understanding of green colour in many forms, HEMA Higher Secondary School  organized different activities on 15th July 2022 for the tiny-tots of Kindergarten.

The celebration started with the introduction of

 colour Green in a fun filled way. Students were all dressed up in different shades of green colour. Students got the opportunity to identify and recognize different green vegetables, leaves, trees and various green objects.  All the students of Pre Primary sang rhymes along with the teacher.To understand about Trees and plants  activity - Hand print, leaf print ,  tear and paste and sorting green objects was held in the classes in which exposed the students to sensory experience while  exploring this colour. 

 Along with the activities a tree plantation drive was organized for kids where they sowed seeds, watered plants in  the school premises. This was done to infuse the love for nature and make them realize the need for green and healthy earth. These activities helped children to develop fine motor coordination, focus, encourage self-expression and stimulate creativity. Children participated well and learnt green colour with keen interest.

Our tiny tots enjoyed Tangy and crunchy, healthy mixed sprouts and vegetable salad. The shades of green filled the air with freshness, thrill, ecstasy and bliss. It also prompted them to think how green colour energizes and revitalizes our lives. It was indeed an invigorating, reviving and rejuvenating experience….!!
