*YELLOW DAY CELEBRATION* at HEMA Higher Secondary Secondary School 

Yellow is the colour of optimism, glory, sunshine, and happiness. It stands for freshness, positivity, intellect and joy.

Keeping the theme of enjoyment Yellow Day was celebrated on 8th July, 2022 (Friday) for the Children of Kindergarten . The motive of celebrating yellow day was to make the students aware of the colour yellow, its significance and to develop the fine motor skills in the students.

The celebration started with fun filled introduction concerning the colour yellow. Students were all dressed up in different shades of yellow colour. The programme proceeded with Rhyme “Five little ducks” .  All the students of Pre Primary sang rhymes along with the teacher. They were excited while doing the different activities – Scribbling with yellow crayons, colouring mango and thumb impression (making chicks). Children enjoyed their yellow food. The programme  ended with a Dance. Thus, It was a wonderful celebration and a learning experience for the Tiny tots.
