"Parent is a teacher at home and teacher is a parent at school". A positive parent-teacher relationship helps the children feel delighted about school. With this thought, the Parent Orientation Programme was conducted by HEMA Higher Secondary School on 16th July 2022. The programme is organised to explain the new examination pattern published by CBSE for classes X and XII. The programme started by welcoming of parents and a lamp lighting ceremony. The

School Principal, Ms. Poonam Sharma, addressed the gathering and spoke about good parenting. Further, the board examination pattern of CBSE was explained by Mrs. Snehal Mande and Ms. Preeti Sharma.

Later, the school counsellor, Ms. Muskan Adwani, took a session on "Parenting and related problems of 21st century". The session was interactive, where parents felt free to ask questions and share, discuss their problems.

In all, the Parents Orientation Programme helped the parents understand the school, its system, CBSE examination pattern and their role in children's lives.

Lastly, the Vice Principal, Ms. Pamela Abraham, concluded the programme with a vote of thanks.
