In order to scale the heights and reach the Pinnacle of success, HEMA Higher Secondary School, always strives to inculcate a sense of responsibility and commitment among the students with their heads held high, ready to shoulder responsibilities as leaders.
With the beginning of the new academic session for the year 2022-23 Investiture Ceremony was organized .
A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with Guard of honour by the school band. Lighting of the auspicious Lamp of Knowledge followed by the soulful rendition of Welcome song
The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion wherein all the young students are well prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility while carrying it out with utmost dedication. Initially, the candidates had prepared and presented strong speeches in front of all the students and teachers in order to qualify for the post.
The newly elected student council members pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious Flag, badge and sash and placard from the Chief Guest Addle. DCP Mr. Rajesh Singh, Bhadouria,President Shri Philip Panicker, Secretary Shri Kishore Pillai, Vice President Shri Sajit Nair, Treasurer Shri Ajeet Nair.
The Head Boy, Head Girl,Asst.Head Boy, Asst. Head Girl, House Captains, Ministers of different fields stood tall while holding the flags of HEMA.
It was a proud moment for all the Parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders. The Chief Guest Mr. Rajesh Singh Bhadouria gave a speech to the children regarding upholding the legacy of the school and the importance of leadership qualities and tips on how turn out to be a leader. He encouraged students to be patriots and take care of the nation.
Principal Ms. Poonam Sharma said “Leadership is not a position or a title, it is action and example.” She motivated the students to keep moving forward despite all the obstacles and challenges that life throws in front of them. She said that being a leader is a vital role and that the new Student Council would have ample responsibilities to shoulder. She said always walk on the correct path and be the change.
A small cultural programme was presented on Motivational songs.
The Vice President Shri Sajit Nair in his speech motivated the students. The programme concluded by a Vote Thanks which was proposed by the newly invested Head Boy Robin Sharma and the Head Girl Harleen Kaur.
